instantaneous rate of change

I am trying to figure out how to key in -2r^2-r-1; -1 in the search box for instantanuous rate of change, for some reason it looks like it does not like the semi-colon, what is the best way to write that?.

I'm not sure what this means.

-2r^2-r-1; -1

Can you explain what you are trying to do? Guesing from your title, are you trying to calculate the derivative of -2r^2-r-1 at r = -1?
