OEIS A071873 is an example of a selvage constant for which I would like to calculate millions/billions of digits. There is Mathematica code on the site but it does not scale very well. Using it, I run out of RAM after only a few hundred thousand digits. Any hope of a rewrite that accomplishes my goal?
Addendum: Some new code has just appeared there! Hmm. I can't get it to spit out more than 100 correct digits.
