When I plug x^2 >= x^4 into wolfram alpha's ask me something box, it shows the correct number line, but it's missing [0] from the interval notation. Is there something I'm missing or is this a bug?

I'm sorry. I'm not sure what you mean. The interval solution looks correct. The inequality holds over [-1,1]. What kind of output were you expecting?
