output unknown in query within parallel notebook

Dear Wolfram experts,

when I run a particular notebook (say, nb1) all input and output is known exclusively only within this notebook nb1. Creating a void parallel notebook nb2, the output quantities from nb1 are not available within nb2.

Opening another notebook nb3 residing in the same directory as nb1, this problem does not occur for the output from that notebook nb3. Thus, the problem is not caused by untrusted paths.

I already got the hint that the problem might be related to different running kernels, but the output from the command '$ProcessID' is identical.

Anyone here who could assist us ? Our Premier Service has expired.

For your notebook nb1 check the setting in the menu item

Evaluation> "Notebook's Default Context"

It sounds like this has been inadvertently set to "Unique to this notebook" rather than "Global`"
