I, too, am having this happen. I am missing one small detail finishing up my ODE problems, and am unable to view the step-by-step due to the black background and black letters. I even tried copy and paste into paint and reverse background color to no avail.
Knowing what I need is on the screen but not visible to me is very frustrating.
