Geostatistics - Wolfram library document does not work/no alternatives?

Hsien-Ching Kao and Eduardo Serna Wolfram Research have an excellent presentation on geostastics at Wolfram Technology Conference 2015 which can be downloaded at

http://library.wolfram.com/infocenter/Conferences/9272

or

https://www.wolfram.com/events/technology-conference/2015/presentations

Unfortunately many of the results in the CDF document cannot be reproduced as the initialization cells are corrupted or do not work. Critical functions like Kriging[] and EmpiricalVariogram[] are not defined. I was wondering if

  • an corrected and working CDF document could be uploaded to the the library website or
  • are there alternative functions/libraries define within this community ?

@Malcolm Davidson you might want to take a look at this user package:

which seems to be pretty recent, but I haven't tested it. 2nd link contains "Roadmap & Feature List". You also might want to get in touch with the developer João Carneiro. I hope this helps somehow. ~ Cheers, Sam.

The conference presentation contains preliminary material that is not yet in the Wolfram Language. We hope to see it in a future release but we cannot comment on any time-frames.
