Mathematica 11.0 won't start, kernel does start on Windows 10

Posted 8 years ago

Hi Everyone,

Recently I've installed Mathematica 11.0 (On a Windows 10 with Anniversary laptop), and I worked fine for me for a couple days. However, after those days Mathematica didn't want to start, it appeared in the Task Manager, but it never actually opened the program. It is possible for me to start the kernel separately.
I've read something about a similar problem with Mathematica 10, where people fixed this problem by changing the default printer, however, unfortunately, this didn't work for me.

Does anyone know a solution for this? Thanks in advance :) Cheers
