I have over 30 years of experience conducting research on diverse topics in
theoretical physics. My interests include quantum computing, the quantum
physics of atoms and photons, mathematical physics, quantum evolution, Lie
algebras, and spintronics in semiconductors.
I am highly motivated to contribute to advancing knowledge in quantum
computing and quantum technologies. Throughout my career, I have developed
mathematical models and algorithms to explore the mechanisms underlying
quantum phenomena in various physical systems, including quantum dots, single
defects in semiconductors, and atomic systems. My work includes a quantum
algorithm for determining the evolution of the density matrix based on the von
Neumann equation, machine learning-assisted tools for spintronic solid-state
devices, and algorithms for analyzing the dynamics of multilevel atomic systems.
These efforts reflect my deep interest in blending theoretical physics with
practical applications. Collaborations with INSA Toulouse and IFUNAM Mexico
have significantly broadened my interdisciplinary perspective.
Beyond my research activities, I take great pride and joy in mentoring
underprivileged science and engineering students from UAM Azcapotzalco,
teaching many hours of mathematics, physics, and computer science courses,
and supervising numerous bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. theses. Many of my
former students have gone on to become promising emerging scientists.
As a multilingual professional fluent in Spanish, English, and French, I thrive in
collaborative, multicultural environments and am eager to contribute to impactful
projects. I am particularly interested in opportunities where I can apply my
expertise in quantum mechanics and computational modeling to tackle complex
challenges, collaborating with experimental groups to integrate theoretical
insights with practical applications. My ultimate goal is to make meaningful
contributions to initiatives that bridge theoretical research with technological
advancement.
