Edoardo holds a Ph.D. in computational materials science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (Switzerland).

He works as a High-Performance Computing expert at the Swiss Federal Laboratories of Materials Science and Technology, where he can join his scientific background with a passion in computer science. He chose to attend the Wolfram Summer School in 2020 – the one and only fully digital version – to take advantage of the School’s unique and stimulating environment and work on a machine learning project applied to natural language.

Outside all the above, he enjoys writing fiction, reading, and mountain activities.
