Jorge Berger is am emeritus professor at the Department of Physics at Braude College of Engineering. He was the head of the department during 2006-2010 and 2015-2018. He has co-edited a book entitled “Connectivity and Superconductivity” (Springer). He is an editor of volume 468/4 of Physica C (devoted to fluctuations and phase transitions in superconductors) and the author of a textbook entitled Lecture Notes in Mechanics (in Hebrew). He is a member of Kibbutz Evron. He classifies himself as an optimist.
