Ahaan Chowdhury is an aspiring economist and changemaker passionate about using data-driven research and public speaking to drive meaningful impact. Currently pursuing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme,, and is deeply engaged in independent research projects spanning decentralized energy systems, financial optimization, and NGO policy analysis in the UAE.

He serves as the Head of Debate and Speech at GWIS and is a member of the UAE National Debate and Public Speaking Team. Ahaan has published in a leading economics journal and worked alongside the Chairman of ICCAI, and led initiatives benefiting mutliple individuals . His work includes grassroots economic development projects supporting migrant workers and artisans, notably through his initiative Economica, which connects small artisans in India with global markets like the UAE.
