Bruce holds a Master Degree in Electrical Engineering and Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, all in the area of electro-thermal heating, from the University of Alberta and a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary, Canada. He completed executive leadership and management training while in the Naval Reserve, retiring as the Executive Officer of HMCS Nonsuch.
