ABOUT ME:
I am a computational materials scientist who enjoys exploring structure-property relationship and developing new advanced materials on a computer. My research focuses on understanding how materials are structured at microscale and how to achieve extraordinary performance of materials for functional and energy applications. I graduated from Penn State with a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering and a minor in Computational Science. Now I am working as a postdoc researcher at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, focusing on mesoscale modeling of Li-ion batteries. I've also been interested in computational modeling of ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials as well as nonlinear optical crystals.
