User Portlet

My career began as a US naval officer and has found its way around through the entertainment sector, and back to math and statistics. I am currently focusing on my family and working on creative endeavors. I write, perform, and produce original music. One thing I would love to do (but I don't know how to at this point) is to figure out how the VST (Virtual Studio Technology) api could be handled by a Mathematica program that could produce sounds and make changes to an existing (input) sound. I work with my wife a lot. My project is Sweetgreenicing and had one release called Fixed-Wing EP. My wife is a founding member of Book of Love (there aren't any other members other than founding ones, though). She is also half of the team called The Myrmidons. We would love any ideas that anyone has on ways to incorporate Wolfram language into our artistic process (especially live) to be even more cutting edge.
