I received my Ph.D. in Natural Resource Management in 1982. My specialty was applied mathematics. I have a career in research that has led to 145 peer-reviewed papers, many of which used Mathematica as a key tool. I developed the Global Optimization for Mathematica package and began selling it in 1998. I have continually improved this package and it continues to out-perform NMinimize on many problems. In addition, I offer consulting services which include optimization, statistics, and dynamic modeling (see my web page).
