Dr. Claudio Cristino holds a degree in Geological Engineering at the Federal University of Ouro Preto (1992), a Masters degree in Mathematics at the Federal University of Pernambuco (2001) and a PhD in Mathematics at the Federal University of Pernambuco (2008) and postdoctoral studies in the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis at Laxenburg, Austria. He has experience in Mathematics, with emphasis in Applied Mathematics, working mainly in the following subjects: statistical mathematics, mathematical modeling, probability, matroids and graphs, reliability and risk assessment in networks. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics and Informatics of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco and the Master's and Doctorate Program in Biometrics and Applied Statistics of the same department. Also he is Guest Research Scholar of Advanced Systems Analysis of International Institute of Applied Systems Analysis, Laxenburg, Austria.
