Dear Sirs, greetings from Slovenia...

From 2005-2012 I served with Sanko Ship Management Co. Ltd. Tokyo, Japan; Sanko Kisen (Europe) bv, Kipstraat 3d-5d, 3011 RR Rotterdam, The Netherlands, as Chief Officer (often in capacity to support newly promoted masters - career development program) and to fulfill matrix requirements. Organizational skills and competences: I have had experience as master in lightering operations during 1994-1996 with MOL Tankship Management Ltd., I served as master with Teekay Shipping 1986-1993, and with Sanko Line as Chief Officer from 1975-1986, then from 2005-2012. Above postings with TK and as well with Sanko Line involved numerous ship to ship transfers as required. From 1996 until 2005 I was manager with KTT (Consultants) Ltd., during this period I was involved in variety of intermodal logistics developments, spanning sea, road and rail transport, inspection related assignments including consulting to EU research and development programs where interdisciplinary collaboration, team science, community engagement, and high-quality mentorship have been incentivized. I am holding diploma with Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport of the University of Ljubljana. In addition, I have also Navy Academy training (lieutenant, Naval Academy Split, Croatia) and Navy service experience. During this period, I have been entrusted beside mentoring with other duties like Navy Command fast rescue craft. Other skills and competences: I have extensive experience in preparing Feasibility Studies, Cost Benefit Analysis, Environmental Analyses, Human Resource Allocation Analyses, and Life Cycle Cost Analyses. I am also skilled with software “Mathematica” by Wolfram Research and Adobe. Good overall IT skills and experience with MS office. In my career, I have been working on aframax tankers, VLCC, bulk carriers, OBO carriers, product tankers, liner vessels, frigo vessels, and on offshore supply and anchor handling vessels for pipelay vessels as chief officer and master. I should mention that I have carried out numerous dry-docking and shipyard work and as well attended several new buildings, most recent an aframax tanker for Sanko Line.
