Daria Smyslova is a Ph.D. student in Learning Design and Technology and an M.S. student in Statistics at NC State University. She designs data-driven, AI-integrated learning solutions that bridge research, classroom practice, and emerging technologies. With a background in linguistics, programming, and instructional design, Daria combines machine learning, usability research, and educational theory to advance AI literacy and improve learning outcomes. Her work spans K–12 curriculum design, social network analysis, and human-centered AI, with research presented at ISLS, AERA, LAK, and EDM.
