ABOUT ME:
I am an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Fordham University. I am a physical chemist by training, working in the area of single-molecule biophysical chemistry. My research is focused on elucidating the molecular mechanisms of the multi-protein complexes that carry out DNA replication and repair in bacteria using single-molecule fluorescence microscopy and other techniques. I teach physical chemistry and physical chemistry laboratory and incorporate Mathematica into both courses. I am interested in developing pedagogical activities to introduce chemistry students to machine learning in the context of physical chemistry.
