Francesco Mazzilli (S'08) -- was born in Turin, Italy, in 1983. He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical Engineering from Polytechnic of Turin (Italy) in 2005. He received the M.Sc. degree in Micro- and Nano-technologies for Integrated Systems, issued jointly from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble, France, and Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, in 2007. In March 2008, he joined the Electronics Lab at EPFL as research assistant in the field of RFIC design. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree on wireless power transmission and radio frequency identification (RFID) with the Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits Group, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland. His research interests include RF CMOS circuit design for wireless systems and for MEMS/NEMS applications.
