Gabriel is a MSc student in Theoretical Physics at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where he earned his BSc degree in Physics last year. His research interests lie in condensed matter and quantum field theory, particularly in the study of topological phases of non-Hermitian systems. As his next career goal, he aspires to pursue a PhD abroad. On a personal level, Gabriel loves animals (specially whales and otters) and he is an advocate for veganism. He enjoys traveling, reading, dancing, programming and learning languages.
