Hi everyone! I have a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Utrecht University, and I am now currently working as a Data Scientist.

My PhD thesis focused on tidal effects of compact objects (such as neutron stars or black holes), where I studied how these objects deform under the influence of an external gravitational field. These deformations can be extracted from gravitational wave data and are very useful to infer the internal properties of such compact objects. For example, it can help elucidate what is at the core of neutron stars, which can have vast implications for both quantum and relativistic theories.
