Hanfeng Zhai is currently an M.S. student of Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University. He currently works on computational modeling, SciML, and AI4Science. More specifically, his research utilizes multiscale and multiphysics computational modeling (i.e. FEM, MD, DEM, etc.), heuristic optimization, and surrogate modeling for nanomechanics and materials design in various engineering fields. Prior, he received his B.S. in Theoretical & Applied Mechanics from Shanghai University as an Outstanding Graduate of Shanghai.
