My name is Jefferson Wagner Dessordi, technical translator and geology & paleontology researcher. Since 1970 I was curious about the great extinctions and formulated (and tested) a theory that allowed me to find the real cause of the great extinctions: volcanism associated to impact events. Chicxulub was only one of the impact events of the Cretaceous extinction. The largest one occurred in the Pacific Ocean, antipodal to the Deccan Traps; also, the Permian extinction was initiated by an impact at Antarctica, antipodal to the Siberian Traps. My wish is to share all my discoveries with people interested on this matter.
