User Portlet

Nothing of interest. I'm a retired engineer that enjoys playing with Mathematica, and would like to master it a bit. I found it difficult and sometimes disconcerting. One has to understand that the only things I coded were Fortran IV, and Mathematica is a very different thing. What I will post here, it would be very simple doubts. Thank you for your help.
