Originally from Chile, Jim has a background in physics and has researched the Q2R automaton, a reversible and conservative cellular automaton. He is particularly fascinated by the field of Complex Systems and strives to understand the emerging dynamics within these systems. Additionally, Jim has a strong interest in education and has gained teaching experience by working as a teaching assistant at the university, teaching physics and mathematics in various schools, lecturing for the Chilean Navy, and serving as an astronomical guide.
