User Portlet

Hello--

I am a 27 year old graduate student in the Mineral Engineering department at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro, NM. I first learned about Mathematica in January 2014 for my Advanced Engineering Math class. I am familiar with the mathematical programming language MATLAB as well as courses from high school in C++, and learning Javascript on my own throughout the years. I am excited to learn about Mathematica which seems incredibly powerful and simple at the same time.
