Juan Carlos Vasquez completed his Ph.D. studies in High Energy Physics at the Sissa (International School for Advanced Studies) in 2016. From 2016 to 2022, he was a postdoc researcher at the Universidad Técnica Federico, Santa María and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Then, he served as a visiting assistant professor of physics at Amherst College (2022–2024). He is the Past Chair of the New England section of the American Physical Society and a full-time member of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society. His research interests are the theory behind neutrino mass and neutrino oscillations, and the non-perturbative quantum field theories.
