Hi! I’m Lim, a high school student based in South Korea with a strong interest in astronomy, astrophysics, and computational science. My academic focus lies in understanding how large-scale cosmic structures form and evolve, particularly Brightest Cluster Galaxies (BCGs) in the early universe.
I work primarily with cosmological simulations (such as IllustrisTNG) and use machine-learning methods -- including Random Forest regression and feature-importance analysis -- to study relationships between galaxy properties like stellar mass, star-formation rate, gas fraction, metallicity, and environment. I’m especially interested in explainable ML and how computational tools can uncover physical drivers behind complex, nonlinear systems.
Alongside astrophysics, I enjoy using Wolfram Language for data analysis, visualization, and modeling. I’m always excited to learn from others here and to share ideas, code, and ask questions!
