I am working in the very large field of quantum many-body theory. In particular, I am studying superfluids and superconductors (Bose-Einstein condensates, BCS-BEC crossover, Josephson effect) and also quantum entanglement by using the methods of quantum field theory at finite temperature.
In the past I studied quantum chaos, the classical-to-quantum correspondence, various models (shell, roto-vibrational) of the atomic nucleus, and numerical methods for fluid dynamics.
I am very interested in applied mathematics, in particular PDEs. I like very much nonlinear Schrodinger equations (NLSEs) and their topological solutions: solitons and vortices. Actually, some times ago derived my own NLSE: the so-called nonpolynomial Schrodinger equation (NPSE).
