Luke was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. He is currently an undergraduate at Yale University studying a mix of Computer Science, Linguistics, Sociology, and Policy/Politics. A lover of all languages--natural and computer--Luke is deeply interested in the ability of machines to wield the distinctly human power of language, and he believes that the technologies that enable this ability have far-reaching applications with the potential to spur incredible advancement in both technology and social causes. Outside of this, Luke is a passionate sportsman, competitive shotgun shooter, performing artist, and University of South Carolina Gamecocks fan.
