I currently work as a post-doctoral researcher at the National Institute of Optics within the Italian National Research Council (CNR-INO) in Florence, Italy. My research work has been focused on topics in quantum thermodynamics, quantum information, open quantum systems, quantum metrology and the energetic aspects of quantum computing. I obtained a Master's Degree in Physics at University of Trieste (Italy) and a PhD in Physics at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon (Portugal).
