User Portlet

Electromagnetics researcher developing tools to model permanent magnet actuators using non-periodic 3D analytic magnetic field solutions. Previously published work developed a compendium of analytic magnetic field solutions for cylindrical permanent magnets and demonstrated how these linear solutions can be used to model nonlinear soft magnets. Current work derives a robust method for the calculation of force and torque between an arbitrary number of magnetic elements.
