In short, I can say I have built my career in research by cultivating a taste for solving complex numerical problems in structural statics and structural dynamics by building elegant computational programs. My first step in this direction was when I joined as a Research Associate at the department of aerospace IISc after completing my PG studies, during which I worked on a project titled "Integrated vehicle health monitoring" sponsored by Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA). During this period at IISc, I developed a strong understanding of linear algebra and differential equations and their applications. This experience drove me to take up a Ph.D. in structural dynamics at IIT Madras. Alongside my research, I focused my skill development on machine/reinforcement learning and their applications in mechanics.

I always found joy in working on the mechanics (both rigid and deformable bodies), which offers complex problems in engineering applications, which ignites my interest in presenting the solution build with a strong foundation in solid mechanics and mathematics.
