Michael Reed is a mathematics researcher with a specialization in differential geometric algebra computational algorithms and a wide range of interest in number theory, aerospace engineering, quantum computing, foundations of mathematical physics, digital signal processing, and music production. Although he has taken many advanced math courses at universities, the differential geometric algebra computational research was done entirely independently from academic institutions without any assistance. He has been helping to spread geometric algebra as a universal foundation for mathematics and engineering with his free software contributions, which can be found under the alias "chakravala" (https://github.com/chakravala). Additional affiliations include AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics) and AMS (American Mathematical Society). He's come to the Wolfram Summer School because he recognizes that the Wolfram Physics Project is of scientific interest to the foundations of discrete differential geometry.
