Prof. Mohamed M. Saied: Received the B.Sc. Degree (Honors) in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University, Egypt in1965, then the Dipl.-Ing. And Dr-Ing. Degrees from RWTH Aachen, Germany, in 1970 and1974. From 1974 to 1983, he was at Assiut University, Egypt. In 1983, he joined Kuwait University where he served as full professor and EE Department Chairman. He spent one-year sabbatical leave (1998) as a Visiting Professor at Cairo University. Since his retirement in 2009, Prof. Saied works currently as an Independent Researcher, Giza, and Cairo, Egypt. He is an IEEE Life Senior Member since 1984
