Mohamed Hussien Gouda is an Egyptian PhD student in physics at Boston College . His academic journey began with a focus on spintronics and magnetism within condensed matter physics, interests he cultivated from his undergraduate years through his master' s degree . His research has since evolved toward machine learning, particularly problems related to learning phase transitions in the context of multitask learning . Outside of academia, Mohamed enjoys spending time outdoors, connecting with nature, and experimenting in the kitchen .
