User Portlet

A composer and visual artist who specialises in the use of computers for creative outcomes. Winner of a Eureka Prize, Art Nova, ABC Computer music and the Yering Sculpture Award for work in music and sound art. I work as a commissioned artist doing sound installations driven by generative techniques. My focus is on using the computer as a tool to make original creative art as a professional artist. Particular areas of focus in my art practice is embodied perception of sound in natural environments (the appreciation of the spatial aspects of soundscapes) - this involves finding ways to connect the body to art in the context of computer based art.
