Graduated with BS Physics, attended graduate school in Math, quit graduate school to work as programmer. Staff programmer for Physics Department while undergraduate, after leaving graduate school worked as programmer from 1970 to 2013 (retirement).

Cofounder of company that built software and systems for managing the electrical energy grid (large regional grids), generation control and optimization scheduling, whole-sale energy markets.

Used Mathematica in a few areas of work history, now retired use Mathematic in my hobby of amateur (ham) radio in the analysis of antenna systems as well as in my pursuit of studying advanced physics topics in quantum field theory and general relativity.
