I am a software engineer with over 20 years of experience in the research and development of software for computer-aided design of very large-scale integrated-circuits (VLSI CAD) with a particular interest in the application of computational geometry in VLSI CAD and the application of analytical and combinatorial optimization in VLSI CAD. During this time, I have worked on a diverse range of problems including: placement and routing algorithms for digital and analog circuits; digital logic interconnect analysis; digital logic gate modeling; and timing analysis algorithms for synchronous digital circuits. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of California at Santa Cruz, his M.Eng. in Control Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont.
