CEO of Strive, a YCombinator-backed startup, raised $1.3M USD to pioneer a world-first approach to teaching math through code. In the real world, when engineers or financial analysts do math, they use computers and code, yet students still calculate by hand in school. By transforming abstract mathematical concepts into coding projects, Strive not only makes learning more relevant and engaging but also bridges the gap between academic theory and real-world application.
Founded by Stanford alum Pulkit Agarwal, they have developed products used by more than 8.5 million teachers and students around the world, partnered with the Singapore's most elite country clubs like American Club, and taught at the biggest schools in Singapore, like NLCS and ACS International. Strive is pioneering the novel approach of combining coding with not only math but also physics, economics and art.
Their vision has attracted the support of notable investors like Ari Sarker (president of MasterCard Asia) and KP Balaraj (founder of Sequoia India).
