I work in Wolfram's Public Relations department as a Consumer Marketing Writer.
Before working at Wolfram, I taught English as a second language (ESL) in Korea, and before then, I was finishing my degree at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand.
I used Wolfram|Alpha while teaching English in Korea, and I use it daily while tutoring ESL students in my free-time. I am by no means an expert on Mathematica or Wolfram SystemModeler, but I am familiar with both technologies and consult the Wolfram Demonstrations Project when applicable to my English tutoring.
When I'm not writing for Wolfram or teaching English, I work as an associate editor of a literary magazine and write rather terrible novels, mostly thrillers and mysteries.
