I am a Systems Engineer with 35 years of experience in mission- and safety-critical systems in various sectors, but primarily aerospace. In the last 2 years, I have become enthralled with robotics, including ground rovers and airborne drones.

I am currently working with the ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7/WG24, the INCOSE Very Small Entity Working Group and the Eclipse Foundation Polarsys Project to develop Systems Engineering standards applicable to organizations consisting of less than 25 people. The effort includes the development of an Autonomous Rover as a case study to apply the ISO/IEC 29110 Systems Engineering standard and its ancillary components.
