ABOUT ME:

After getting a double math/physics BS and a physics MA in physics at Kent State University I studied Lie Groups and complex manifolds for a PhD at the University of Utah. After five years I moved to Houston to work for Shell Oil Company doing geophysical research. I developed finite element codes for geologic applications and implicit finite difference codes for seismic wave propagation.

Now I am interested in using Mathematica to perform finite element simulations of the dynamics of holes in spacetime under general relativity. The astrophysics community has held for over 100 years that holes in space time only have steady state solutions under general relativity. I want to show them what they are missing.
