Rodrigo Bazaes has a strong interest in understanding how complex systems like politics, economics, and finance work. He views video games as a powerful medium for both exploration and education. This is why he is developing Finance Interactive, focusing on finance as the foundation for simulating larger, interconnected systems. His goal is to deliver an experience that challenges and engages those interested in the deeper mechanics of economic systems.
Previously, Rodrigo completed a PhD in mathematics at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and held a postdoctoral position at the University of Münster. His research focused on probability theory, specifically on stochastic models of mathematical physics and motion in random media. This includes work on random walks in random environments, directed polymers, and the stochastic homogenization of partial differential equations.
