My work as a theoretical physicist is focused on answering some of the fundamental questions of physics, with emphasis on the areas of: cosmology (the study of the properties of the Universe and the conditions that prevailed from its beginning, up to its current state), on topics in quantum field theory when subject to external and extreme influences (such as temperature, densities and external fields) and on several of its applications.
