I am currently managing the Image, Signal & Audio Processing team at Wolfram Research. My career with Wolfram Research has started in 2008 as a software developer in the image processing team and I started managing the team in 2010. Before that I attended the MS program in computer science at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
After a few years of working on the image processing capabilities in Mathematica, seeing how far we have come and how much we can already solve is very exciting. However, it is always even more exciting to challenge this suite with problems that are either conceptually hard or computationally expensive. So, here at community, I am looking forward to seeing more problems that can get solved with Mathematica and especially its image processing functions and learn more about application areas to which our functionality can be applied.
