ABOUT ME:

Shaivi Koul is a student researcher with a strong interest in applying computer science, artificial intelligence, and data analysis to solve real-world environmental and engineering challenges. Her research spans water quality, environmental monitoring, and computational modeling.

Beyond environmental science, Shaivi enjoys exploring how computational methods can be used to model complex physical systems. She is passionate about combining mathematics, programming, and scientific inquiry to create tools that make complex information more understandable and actionable.

She was a student researcher at the Wolfram High School Summer Research Program 2026, where she developed a computational essay on "Modeling Heat Distribution in Server Rooms Using the Heat Equation." Through this project, she created a simulation framework in the Wolfram Language to investigate how server placement, shape, and boundary conditions influence thermal behavior in data centers.
