ABOUT ME:
I develop and apply theoretical and computational methods to study transport physics in soft-matter systems, such as biological (transport) processes at and below the cellular scale. I also have an interest in fundamental questions of classical statistical mechanics regarding the particle-continuum nature of fluids when viewed at the molecular scale. More generally, I am interested in the theoretical and algorithmic intersection of nonequilibrium statistical physics, kinetic theory, and hydrodynamics, with an emphasis on using simulation to deepen theoretical and experimental intuition.
