The goal is to make advanced computational methods available for rural and critical access providers. As a pediatric hospitalist working in rural and critical access situations where internet bandwidth is limited and access to even basic clinical decision support is problematic. The goal is to use the Wolfram Language and associated technologies to develop and deploy pediatric clinical decision support regardless of local restrictions.
Caring for a newborn baby that is not breathing in a location far from a children's hospital is a high risk situation and limited resources. Very few companies actively try to support these high risk situations for a variety of economic and logistic reasons.
